I am currently completing my final semester at EHL, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management, which I believe makes this the perfect moment to share a genuine student review. To begin with, EHL’s Preparatory Year (AP) was truly one of the best years of my life. Although I am naturally more introverted, I was able to meet many people with whom I shared meaningful experiences, and who significantly influenced my personal and professional journey. Student life at EHL has been equally enriching. The wide variety of committees, ranging from sports to mixology, provided opportunities to explore new interests, networking, and develop soft skills outside of the classroom. I also had the privilege of enjoying the many facilities on campus, such as the semi-Olympic swimming pool, which allowed me to recharge and maintain a healthy balance between academics and well-being. Throughout my bachelor’s studies, each semester introduced me to new subjects and skills that built a solid foundation, allowing me to apply knowledge to specific industry sectors, such as Hotel Real Estate Development and Planning. At present, I am taking the “Strategic Hotel Investment” elective,an intensive six-weeks course, which enables us to work on real-life projects. Guided by Professor Pascal Bichon’s “learning by doing” approach, we work on weekly cases and present our work to industry experts, whose feedback supports continuous learning and improvement. Beyond the classroom, I was able to put theory into practice through two internships, which provided me with first-hand exposure to industry systems and operations, even before completing my degree. Overall, EHL has shaped me both academically and personally. It has been an invaluable experience, and if I had the chance to start over, I would do it all again without hesitation.
