I did my bachelor’s at Linköping university for 3 years and it was a colorful experience. They have this amazing student culture with an insane welcoming period. Each program has “faddrar” which are a group of older students who orientate the new students and organize a whole welcoming week full activities to get to know the city and the university campus. Together with them, come the “bad faddrar”, another group of old students that terrorize the new students in a funny way if they don’t follow the rules.
It was such a great experience getting to know people from different backgrounds as my program was for international students. Linköping is such a cozy town as well but full of opportunities for students to thrive both in the academical aspect as in the job market. I really enjoyed my time there it and got some friends for life.
