Student review [#12228] for Communication and Media Studies
at Universitat Pompeu Fabra - UPF

Universitat Pompeu Fabra is a very good university. hey are always making sure they are in the best universities rankings in the world but actually, they deserve to be in them.

I studied Audiovisual Communication there and I have to say it was very good. Although they need to improve a lot of things, in general I am very satisfied. Most of the teachers are very good professionals and intellectuals who have a lot to teach you. Also, the subjects are not only theory lectures, as we also have the opportunity to practice and, in our case, create shortfilms, documentaries, film in a TV set, write real film scripts… In addition, the installations are very good. Even if the Communication Campus is not very big, it has everything you could ever need while studying there.

Nevertheless, as I said before, not everything is perfect. The
bureaucratic processes sometimes take forever, as the workers at the academic secretary often don’t know how to help you, or they can’t deal with all the work they have. Besides, we had some teachers who were very good professionals but really didn’t know how to teach properly. So not all the experiences I had there were very good ones. But I think that’s OK, as not everything can be perfect!

So even so, I rate my university with 5 stars because I believe they taught me a lot and I can tell it is a very good one. I feel lucky I had the chance to study Audiovisual Communication there. #jolapompeu
