Opinion about Universidad Politécnica de Madrid: The Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) is a prestigious institution that specializes in engineering, architecture, and technology. What I liked about the university:

What I disliked about the university:

Administrative Hurdles: the frustrations with the bureaucratic processes, such as delays in responding to inquiries or challenges in navigating registration and course scheduling. This could be frustrating for international students or those not familiar with the Spanish academic system like me.

Finally, I would highly recommend UPM to anyone interested in pursuing a career in engineering, architecture, or technology. The university’s reputation, excellent programs, and research opportunities make it a great choice for serious students. However, be prepared for a rigorous academic experience and be sure to manage your workload efficiently. If you’re looking for a more multidisciplinary approach or a less intense study environment, you may want to consider other options as well.

The outstanding support, encouragement, and the structured professionalism of both staff and facilities enabled me to explore and develop my talents, stepping beyond my comfort zone.

The UPM is a great univerity, it has an overall great value. I think its main values are: the student life quality, the reputation it has gained over the years and the location. Student life in every faculty is really developed and supported by the college direction, there are oportunities for everyone to be integrated. This also links with location, since it is located in Madrid student liufe and univerity spirit goes on “afeter hours”. The UPM is also great in that it has a great reputation, which really helps out ehen looking for a job after graduation, This reputation, I feel like, is also very much well deserved.

This university is the best one if you’re looking for great people, fantastic student clubs, party and plenty of facilities. Professors are average but you can ask them about their research field because most of them investigate in multiple and interesting stuff.

The school is great, they have an amazing network that makes your experience much more than studying. The installations are amazing and, so far, the teachers seem to be good professionals in their field (if not that, good teachers). Overall amazing.

I would recommend it, if you’re an ambitious person, who likes challenges and doesn’t mind working hard to achieve their goals. The environment is great, you’ll find solidarity in general and a lot of worthy activities (clubs, lectures from professors and real workers in your field, events where representatives from big companies come to introduce you to the professional world, …)

I have always thought that being an exchange student at this university must not be easy. You have to be aware of the hard work you will need to do. Usually, professors don’t do any special treatment to Erasmus students and the level and work required for each subject is very high (you will probably have weekly deliveries). However, it’s true that UPM is a well-known university because of the quality of its teaching and it’s usually highly valued by companies when looking for a job.

After studying in this university, finding a well-paid job will be definitely much easier than at any other engineering school in Spain. Also, the student life here is amazing, and in your student years you will be able to learn about many subjects, other than those you learn in your career

In this university there are many kind of careers which you can chose. In addition, it offers many opportunities for scholarship and internship students.On the other hand, this university has recognition outside of its own country which is a good thing to taking into account if you want to work outside.
