I liked how the courses were structured and the professors are very knowledgeable. A lot of hands-on projects and assignments. Very international Environment and encourages differences and different backgrounds.
Now the negatives-
1. It is expensive.
2. Professors are really knowledgeable and everyone works on the side or has their own firms but some of them might not be the best of ‘teachers’
After doing a bachelor’s in business management I wanted to do a more creative master’s. When I heard about the master’s in Visual and Digital Media I knew it was for me. I honestly would have never known that I would be learning so many new skills, especially with the adobe suite, WordPress, photography, content creation and brand strategy. I personally loved my time at IE University. If I had to do to it again, I would!
View moreIE offers you the opportunity to learn from the best. The team of professors are very well prepared people, who are passionate about what they do and feel the same passion for sharing it with their students.
They are people who are professionally the best in their own fields, who take teaching seriously and know that they are preparing the generation of the future.
Personally, I think I had very good teachers, from whom I learned a lot and I will surely continue learning.
View moreIE university offers well-crafted programs. The courses were taught by industry professionals giving real world insight, advice and opportunities. Beyond the classroom, the university offers a wealth of opportunities to network and learn to students who have the initiative.
Courses are demanding with a lot of group work so it is essential to be able to work well with other people who are not similar to you.
View moreIE has offered this unique Master’s programme that encompasses creativity and management. This is a high impact program that will teach you how to thrive in creative companies as well as find your own creative space.
View moreI’ve had the best experience at IE. The classes are great and I’ve learned so much but most importantly the friends I’ve made. I love how the school is so diverse and international, it has made me meet people from everywhere.
View moreWhen I finished my BA in Interior Architecture I wasn’t sure of the path I wanted to take. When I discovered the Master in Visual and Digital Media at IE I knew it would help me learn and understand new skills necessary to move my career in a certain direction.
View moreI loved all the creative classes we had. Especially the ones where we learned by doing. These were courses such as Photography & Video Production, Graphic Design and Entertainment and Media Production among other ones. I loved how prepared and experiences the majority of the teachers are. I also love that at IE teachers are always accessible and that you don’t feel like just a number. This program was extremely practical, which made the learning process faster. The one thing I would change about the program is the networking exposure they have with the creative industry. I think it lacked many opportunities that other masters did get. I would have loved getting filmmakers, film directors/producers, creative directors, directors of photography, and art directors from companies or small agencies. In my opinion, it lacked the creative agency spectrum at 100%. I hope they integrate more creatives into the networking events to give the master a better experience. Loved teachers such as Bea, Albertina, Eduardo and Brian was a great professor too.
View moreI loved my experience at IE, I met people from all over the world. If I could change something would be some classes, I would try to give the program a more creative focus when applying to jobs and education.
View moreI believe that this master helped me a lot as I learned to do so many different things. At the beginning of my master’s, I did not imagine that I would learn as many things as I did and I think that the program is very complete. I think that at some point in the Master it becomes a little bit repetitive in terms of classes but overall I believe that we learned a lot. I believe also that one of the bad sides of this master’s is that we touch on so many different things but there is not one subject where I am confident my portfolio is as strong as someone else’s portfolio if they studied this area only. I also believe that the management is not very organised. But overall this year has been the best year of my life, I can’t believe how much I have learned in such a short amount of time and the fact that we have had professors who actually work in the industry they teach is really an amazing opportunity!
