I think the Faculty of Communication and International Relations is a very good university, especially because of the quality of the education and the close relationship with the professors. From my experience, it’s clear that many of the professors come from the professional world, which makes the classes very practical and useful, and not just theoretical.
One of the strengths I value most is the faculty’s extensive network of contacts with companies, institutions, and media outlets. This makes it much easier to find internships and start building a professional network from the very beginning, which is crucial for future careers. Furthermore, the class sizes are usually small, allowing for more personalized attention and better student support.
The facilities are well-maintained, and the academic atmosphere is serious and focused on maximizing academic achievement. However, if I had to point out an area for improvement, I would say that perhaps there’s a lack of university life. Since it’s not a very large university, sometimes you miss having a more vibrant campus life, more activities or associations that foster social interaction among students.
Overall, my assessment is very positive. I would recommend Blanquerna to those seeking a high-quality education with ample career opportunities and a personal touch, although it might not be the best option for those who prioritize a very active university life outside the classroom.
View moreI think it’s a unique opportunity and experience spending four years in my university. Beginning with the attention that the teachers give the students, followed by the incredible facilities and finishing with the high level of most of the teachers. As all the universities, it has some bad points, but many more good ones.
View moreBlanquerna University includes three faculties, each one located in a different Building. (Faculty of psycology ,Education and sport sciences, where i currently study, faculty of Health sciences and faculty of communication and international relations. Even if there are a lots of things that I like in my university such as the facilities, the new and big classes, the environment ,the courses which are really interesting ,I had bigger expectations as it is a private and expensive university. The professors are high-skilled and they can provide students with a high –level education but they are not usually friendly or willing to help you. Furthermore the administration of the university doesn´t help students who deal with economic difficulties , and there are strict rules at the method of payment. In addition my faculty it´s not located at the center of the city which is also one of the thigs that I don´t really like.
View moreIn general, the University is very good and has some good programs of study, but for being a private university you expect a little more of it. I want to focus on the level of Primary and Child Education in English. When I registered everything was very easy but once I was studying I realized the low level of English that some teachers have and the contradictions they have within the same university. They say one thing and then you can not do what they have told you or they say it is not for you, etc. The same happens with Erasmus programs, when you enter you have more than 100 destinations and once you enter your degree as many opt to 5 different cities that are not the ones that originally told you.
