The campus offered a great environment to learn, and the professors were approchable and supportive. Looking back, I’m very grateful for the experience and the impact it had on both my professional and personal development. I would definitely recommend UAB to future students.

At UAB, students will have access to researchers and professors who are at the cutting edge of many topics. Also, it is a large school, and students can take advantage of interdisciplinarity. This is a progressive school, and a lot of critical thinking coming out from both faculty and student body.

It is a good university although unfortunately there are not many resources for research (at least in my area, physical anthropology) nor agreements with external institutions. That greatly diminishes my opinion regarding other universities in Latin America where there are such links in this discipline. Some masters leave a lot to be desired.
