I wanted to develop more in my career. I started searching for the best university offering online MBA. As I am a working mother and I won’t be able to travel and leave my daughters behind all the time. I kept looking for a good university for one year. I was looking for the university where I will really learn something, not have a certificate, and that is all. Finally, I found EU’s website. I started checking the accreditations, and all this stuff. I did my MBA double major online. Now I am on my DBA program. I would like to say this was the best opportunity I have ever had in my life. Along with meeting people from all over the world I gained more talents and experiences like enhancing my communication skills and knowledge. EU has 3 great campuses in 3 great cities. Being part of EU Business School opens to you many doors and seeing the respect and appreciation on people’s eyes. Also, they supported me to reach one of my dreams to teach. Thanks 🙂
View moreWhat I like is the place where university is located. It’s a nice neighborhood. I also like real work experience of our professors, they worked for years in the business field, and they have a lot to share with us. Of course professors are different here. Some of them interactive, some prefer just to give theory material, but anyway all of this is good experience and valuable knowledge.
I don’t like that MBA has an evening classes, till 7. I understand that BBA has morning classes, but at least they could schedule it from 5-6.
All in all I am happy with my choice and with university.
Hey guys!
Alumni is one of the best advantages of the EU BS. Academic side presented by experienced professors.
I did MBA in Barcelona campus, which gives amazing study-life balance!
Strongly recommend!
The administration department is very lazy and irresponsible. I also hated seminars, which we had usually one Saturday of the month, when we were needed to be in class from 9 till 3. It was the most difficult days to woke up. From my point of view, it’s better to have this seminar during the working week. I was studying on MBA, International Management and I really liked business simulator classes. It was a computer class, where we were running our own business and were needed to make our own decisions depending on the changes of the market and competitors. I also liked that we had a lot of presentations. It increases your public speaking skills.
View moreI have already finished MBA program and I can tell that information that career center is helping with internships is exaggerated. University has agreements with couple of companies and that’s all, so mainly you need to search yourself. University also has no lunch area and the most ridiculous we even can’t eat and drink coffee inside premises. Only water allowed. The administration part is totally disorganized. They postpone thesis defense for 2 weeks, last minute! And what if some students already bought tickets to come to Barca for defense?
I like that most of our works were in teams. It’s teaching you to adapt to situations. Sometimes you are doing projects with really strong students, sometimes with weak. Exactly as in life. It teaches you to work with different types of people.
Someone wrote about the average age for MBA course, that it’s too young. Totally agree. Usually, good business schools ask for work experience of no less than 2 years and GIMMAT, but not in case of EU. Of course it’s good for young people, who want at 23 to already have both diplomas (BBA, MBA) but not in case of people, who already have this business experience, because during classes this gap felt very much. EU has no fixed limitations to pass on the level of entering university. For instance, I needed to pass IELTS and write an essay while some of the other people were only completing an English test given by uni and some even did nothing, just paid money. It’s very bad as some students first have no knowledge about business at all, second don’t know English well enough. To deal with such students is hard for both professors and us.
View moreI enjoyed my one year studying at EU as an MBA Student, it has good professors with a sufficient amount of students in each class which helped us a lot to participate and have a good knowledge from our classes.
View moreEU Business School offers different ways of studying. My first MBA term I did online and then my second term I did in Barcelona Campus. For the third term I have found an internship, so I split my term in 2 parts, to have a possibility to work and study at the same time. I like that EU is very flexible in this. And of course I think all of the students have more or less the same complaints, which were mentioned here and with which I mostly agree.
View moreGreat multiculturism and melting pot.
Classes are relatively easy for an MBA program. Professors are good and I learnt a lot through the case studies format.
However criteria to enter are very low and that handicaps the level of learning in class as some people can’t even speak English properly.
View moreI chose this university because of the flexibility of start dates (able to start in March and not wait until September) this aspect was good. Also because there are no strict requirements it is easier to get into if you don’t have a previous business education which is good since most of the courses in the MBA are beginner level.
One big problem is that there are many students who have a much lower level of English than should be required to complete an MBA in English. It makes class and team work difficult.
However; great diversity and met people with interesting and varied backgrounds experiences, projects and plans.
I also liked the field visits to companies. There should be more.
Big disappointment that it didn’t helm me in finding a job in Barcelona even though I speak English, French, and Spanish.
