Kyungpook National University - KNU (reviews)

I’ll be honest, it’s not exactly prestigious, but it’s still well within the top 30 highest ranking South Korean universities, so the vast majority of students here have had good grades in high school. That being said, given how Korea is extremely homogeneous, I wouldn’t come here unless you’re able to speak Korean yourself. It’s not that the students here can’t speak English, technically they can but a lot of them prefer not to unless it’s absolutely necessary.

Classes are very laid-back, and as long as you aren’t dozing off and as long as you understand Korean you shouldn’t have any issues with assignments and exams.

Kyungpook National University is a choice destination for international students. It is a school that does not only create a conducive atmosphere for scholarship and excellence irrespective of your background but it also brings an aura of a home away from home. Here, we are more of brothers and sisters than colleagues. Here is a bigger family you would not regret to be part of.
