The University of Pretoria has solid academic programmes, especially if you’re someone who’s motivated and can manage things independently. The lecturers know their stuff, but don’t expect anyone to spoon-feed you — you really have to push yourself, ask questions, and go the extra mile if you want to thrive.
What I liked most was the structure and the variety of courses. Things were well-organised and there were good online resources too. Some professors genuinely cared and were open to helping, which made a big difference.
Would I recommend it? Yes, but only if you’re serious about your studies and don’t mind figuring things out on your own sometimes.
