Student review [#67950] for International Public Management
at University of Pretoria - UP

No bias but the University of Pretoria is one of the best universities in South Africa. It’s a dream come through for all the students who apply to study there. Being accepted as a Tuks students boosts your self esteem and confidence. Even though all those cherries and roses are before enrolling.

It is a beautiful institution that challenges and grows you in more ways than just academically. You learn to withstand temptations, peer pressure and being self responsible. There is no thing as being spoon fed you work hard and motivate yourself to be the best version of the future person you aspire to be.

Being an alumni there is one of my proudest accomplishments and if given the chance to redo UP with pleasure would at any given time.

For my field it’s recognized as one of the easiest but I do not believe so. I think every child is made for certain challenges and as a Public Management graduate myself and classmates were well equipped for our course and the challenges it comes with.

The University is very big so our classes are big as well. Student population at my time (2017-2022) at the university was about 66 000 so you can imagine how big our classes may be so it’s your responsibility as a student to seek help of you feel left out or behind.

Overall it’s the best experience I have ever got. With lessons I take with me daily.
