Studying at the University of KwaZulu-Natal was a defining chapter in my life. It wasn’t always easy ,there were challenges with admin and infrastructure from time to time ,but the experience shaped me in ways I’ll always be grateful for.
The university is a beautiful mix of cultures, ideas, and people. I met classmates from all walks of life, and that diversity opened my mind and heart. My lecturers were dedicated and deeply knowledgeable ,the kind who want you to succeed, not just academically, but as a human being.
What I truly valued was how UKZN doesn’t just teach you from textbooks. It teaches you to think critically, to speak up, and to understand the world you’re stepping into. It’s not just a place to study ,it’s a place to grow. Would I recommend it? Yes , especially to anyone who’s curious, passionate, and ready to embrace both the good and the difficult. It gave me more than a degree. It gave me resilience, purpose, and a voice.
