Administrative and feedback issues.
Academically, the university performs great; however, contacting student aid, financial services, or even lecturers becomes tedious and almost impossible. In most circumstances university emails do not exist or don’t respond, landlines are constantly engaged and staff feel no obligation to assist you. In the rare case, that you do get the assistance you need the service is poor. UKZn should look into providing training seminars for staff to better equip them with customer service skills.
