The University of Johannesburg is one that is exceptional when it comes to academics and inclusivity. However, they pay excessive attention to academia and obtaining a qualification. Unfortunately, only your qualification can take you so far. It does not highlight on the experience that is needed with the qualification to obtain a job in your field of study. I guess what I am saying is that the university could suggest projects that a student should mandatorily participate in from the beginning of their degree. This automatically gives the students some experience that is needed in their field of study. This project can be completed within their duration of study. And in that way, when each and every student leaves the university, they have more than a certificate in their cv.
