Unisa is a highly recommended University in Africa, having students from all countries in Africa. They do visual lecture which is very helpful and easy to access. They also have part time classes and full time classes that you can attend physically.

I can confidently state that attending the University of South Africa has been a genuinely wonderful experience. This university’s professors are not only smart and highly trained, but they also understand how to make learning enjoyable and interesting. I anxiously anticipate each lesson because I know I will learn something useful and fascinating. I did my masters degree when i was older as a part-time student and it really paid my fees and funded my education throughout my 4 years and ild recommend because the lectures are patient and were really helpful when i was lost and when my thesis did not align so I’m grateful. If any student wants to do a masters while working this is the best university.

I really enjoyed studying at UNISA. It is THE university that enables you to pursue your studies while pursuing your career. It does require a lot of time management and self discipline, but overall, it was a great experience.

Unisa is easier on the pockets when compared to traditional contact learning universities, however, because it caters to such a large population of students, its turnaround time for tending to student inquiries takes a very long time. Unisa is also a correspondence university (distance learning), which means that as a working student, for example, you control where and when you would like to learn; making it an appealing alternative to traditional universities. Amidst the disadvantages listed above, Unisa sits comfortably in its raking amongst the top Echelon of South African universities.
If one prioritizes their learning and remains well organized, Unisa can be a great institution.
