View moreI really enjoyed studying at UNISA. It is THE university that enables you to pursue your studies while pursuing your career. It does require a lot of time management and self discipline, but overall, it was a great experience.
View moreUnisa is easier on the pockets when compared to traditional contact learning universities, however, because it caters to such a large population of students, its turnaround time for tending to student inquiries takes a very long time. Unisa is also a correspondence university (distance learning), which means that as a working student, for example, you control where and when you would like to learn; making it an appealing alternative to traditional universities. Amidst the disadvantages listed above, Unisa sits comfortably in its raking amongst the top Echelon of South African universities.
If one prioritizes their learning and remains well organized, Unisa can be a great institution.
