My 1st year experience

The university is fairly a good place I won’t lie. The vibe is nice and everything so far has been a great experience. However just because I had a great experience does not mean everyone has had one.
I like the culture that is surrounded by the university, all the different events and all the likes. I love when they are stalls all over lovers lane and everywhere on campus. Always wanted to find a place of belonging like the way they paint it in those American university series and I did, I found the NWUPDU, honestly the debate union and obviously my friends have kept me going, all such great spaces. So one thing I definitely like and would recommend at NWU is the debate society, I was scared because I knew nothing about debating but once I went, met great people who were open to teaching us the basics and how to grow within the debate space and it has been an amazing journey.
