Honestly this university is the best thing to ever happen to me, the environment is calm, safe and peaceful furthermore it pushes you to study. I say this because I’m from the city I know how busy it gets but there’s something about Potchefstroom that pushes you to get what you want or there for , you only get distracted because you want to be distracted, the lectures are friendly and willing to help at anytime I’m in contact with most of my lecturers. The institution is trying to improve every single day, they are trying to be better day by day you see it around campus and they are on the path on being the best university in South Africa and in Africa. I love everything about this institution it gave me a chance to learn and work, became a better person because of it I love it so much. Classes are well structured, most lecture halls are top tier but some are still under maintenance, campus life is great there’s lot of entertainment going on, there’s lot of activities to do on campus. It’s a great institution, be prepared for some classes to be taught in Afrikaans but there’s translator services for you if you don’t know Afrikaans I don’t have anything bad to say about this institution, just focus on yourself and your education and stay out of trouble, don’t dwell too much into politics because you may have a hard time trying to maneuver around, they are strict and don’t hesitate to expel you if you doing dumb things.
