I love the university. I have always wanted to further my education and training as an aspiring qualified accountant because I intuitively felt drawn to the isolated city, Potchefstroom. And, ever since I set foot here, I never had a single regret. It has its flaws, just like any institution, which is always striving to grow and improve, but it isn’t as bad that you couldn’t appreciate the parts that make it a worthwhile university. While on the lighter side of things, I would love to commend one of the student representatives of CTL, Miss Blanche. Coming across her was quite an unexpected experience, but I am glad to have met her because, as a first-year, I always wondered what CTL was all about, as I only ever saw it on e-Fundi. But she came in divine timing, like a godsend, to help quench my curiosity, and today I am a lucky peer-mentored student, and I couldn’t be happier because you do need a push from time to time. I really appreciate how proactive and involved she is in my life and studies, like a concerned and loving big sister would. She does what she says she will do and tries her utmost best to deliver on her obligations, and that’s impressive to me because it’s always an honor and privilege to meet like-minded people with a work ethic and a nurturing energy to help you achieve your goals. I have only had one virtual session with her, but I am already looking forward to having more interactions with her and getting value for free! How awesome, innit mate?!
