As I reflect on my academic journey, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Education (BEd) in Senior and Further Education and Training (FET) Phase, majoring in Economics for Education, from North-West University (NWU) in 2024, I am filled with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude. This review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of my experience, detailing the program’s strengths, challenges, and overall impact on my professional and personal development.

The BEd program at NWU is designed to blend educational theory with specialized knowledge in Economics, tailored for the Senior and FET phases. The curriculum is structured into core educational modules and specialized Economics courses, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.
