NWU really opened up my eyes to the incredible richness of human culture and creativity. From exploring different literature to delving into history, philosophy, and art history, my classes helped me understand the world in a whole new light. The English courses were especially powerful, with professors who made me see literature in a way I’d never imagined. They encouraged me to think deeply and critically, to appreciate all kinds of writing, and to be awestruck by the power of words. My university experience changed the way I see the world, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
