The University is great space of learning and development. There are supportive Lecturers and programs that support student development like UJ Community Engagement and other independent volunteering programmes. They support student Engagement with their events and res culture. It is vibrant and inclusive University.

The university has modern lecture halls, laboratories, seminar rooms and micro-labs across campuses, designed to support a wide range of disciplines. It provides a range of student residences with varied options. Some campuses like APK have large residence offerings; others, like Bunting Road, are close to accommodation rather than having on-site res residences.

I had the best time at UJ i like the access to information and that they were helpful with information and clarication . However they must fix the issue with payment system. They do not make you aware instantly that your funds didn’t go through until you enquire yourself

The professors and lectures are very polite and professional, they treat you like family and the accomodation meets the standards of any kind of students regardless of disability or gender. The sporting facilities are also up to standards and are well maintained.

Studying at the University of Johannesburg is a rewarding and eye-opening journey. The coursework is engaging and pushes me to develop strong critical thinking skills. One of the things I value most is the diverse student body, which allows me to learn from people with different backgrounds and experiences.

The lecturers are approachable and always willing to help, creating a supportive learning environment. I also take part in student groups and tech-related activities, which helps me grow both personally and professionally. Overall, UJ gives me a great foundation for my future, and I’m grateful for the experience.
