Stadio has made a name for itself amongst the school community. Teachers studied at Stadio are not unemployed for long upon completing their studies. I was impressed with having to do in-class practical’s even at first year level unlike other Universities.
View moreThe institution is a great learning institute, my only problem I had was a staff member being inappropriate constantly.
Classes were online, as we were distant learner, receiving support was complicated in terms of their processes of getting through to lecturers, administrators.
I attended Stadio with hesitance – I had really been hoping to attend a more mainstream university like WITS or UJ – but I got all that and more with Stadio. The lecturers are the best, nothing compares to their intellect and interest in their respective fields. There are, admittedly, certain issues with admin (it may be an uncommon issue)
But, like I said – excellent lecturers, great quality content to learn, and simply an overall enjoyable experience to be able to attend Stadio.
I really enjoy attending STADIO , it is a lot different to a normal public university , it is a private institution. which I love because there’s a lot less students.
The lecturers have connected really well with our First year group . I love that they encourage students to step out their comfort zone with the yearly Artful hustle showcase (because I am into art as well )and Geo glam, our Geography lecturer hosts a modelling competition each year, where students are encouraged to make clothes out of recycled materials.
I enjoyed my first year because it mainly encompassed student – centred learning which was fantastic, Almost everyone took part in the classroom discussions and learning.
Sometimes the lectures would go on for hours and I’d get tired but that’s the college experience.
I study Bachelors in Education intermediate phase, the program was enjoyable, I benefited so much from the learning in the classroom, especially in my natural science module, we took part in a lot of lab experiments and activities, which was fun.
The people are really friendly, the facilities are always clean and I’m not even exaggerating, I do feel like I am in the right place .
One negative thing is sometimes the communication, sometimes we struggle to get through to the university but that was only in the beginning of the year.
They take a while to mark our papers and exams but it’s understandable. The food in the cafeteria is a bit expensive for students I think, but excellent service . Overall I had a good first year experience with STADIO .
I would definitely Recommend attending STADIO.
View moreWhat I really love about this institution is the amount of support and encouragement that the lecturers give us. Before, during and after assignments and tests they are there to help us to make sure that we do our best. It is both a privilege and a pleasure to have such patient and dedicated lecturers. What I would advise to someone interested in being a student at Stadio is that they should not hesitate because they will receive a great support, and their academics will be less stressful but full of a community that’s filled with encouragement. They will start and end their academic journey with ease, all thanks to the lecturers.
View moreStadio is an amazing institution. I transferred there after originally beginning my degree at UNISA. I had an awful experience with UNISA and was so grateful and relieved to discover that the entire process, from registration to examinations, is completely free of issues and easy to use.
