it is student friendly and has great facilities that accommodate all students from disables to disadvantaged and provide excellent student representative counsel. the varsity also provide tutoring services during exams seasons

It is honestly a good institution but I feel like it can get better if it could work hand in hand with the students. What I don’t like talking from experience is the registration period every year whether first or second semester. As students we don’t get assistance on time leading to us being behind with our school work, some to even failing the module(s). To add on that ADOs, finance staff, as well as the housing staff TAKE THEIR OWN SWEET TIME TO ASSIST US!!. I would recommend this institution obviously if you want to see and experience the beautiful province of KZN but all I can say is be prepared to booking appointments with the psychologist for the rest of your study period in UKZN.

UKZN is a good institution that has an international reputation for academic excellence. What I don’t like about UKZN is that management does not prioritise student’s issues. I would recommend UKZN to others because it’s not like every university is perfect.

Ukzn is quite an old institute but as time goes they should have dated ways on navigating around the Campus.
One thing I love about UKZN is the unique infrastructure, I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
