View moreDuring my time at the University of KwaZulu-Natal Natal I got to experience the best higher education. The kind of education I got exposed to met my expectations and even went beyond what I expected. The service provided by the staff is up to standard, and it makes life at the university easy.
View moreThis university has made it easier for me to get into higher education. There is flexibility, and it can accommodate everyone as it offers different courses. I am very happy with their service and their assistance at all times.

View moreMy time at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) was both academically stimulating and personally rewarding. One of the most impressive aspects of UKZN is the diversity—both in its student body and in its academic offerings. It’s a place where different cultures, ideas, and perspectives truly come together.
What stood out the most for me was the strength of the academic programs, especially within the College of Humanities and the School of Health Sciences. The lecturers were not only experts in their fields but also approachable and passionate about teaching. Some went above and beyond to make sure students understood complex topics, which made a big difference in my learning.
The campus life at UKZN is vibrant, especially at Howard College and Westville campuses. There’s always something happening—student events, debates, cultural celebrations—which helped build a sense of community. The university’s commitment to transformation and social justice is also visible in how it engages with the local community through outreach and service programs.
That said, like many large institutions, UKZN has its challenges. Administrative processes can sometimes be slow, and communication from certain departments could definitely be improved. However, with patience and persistence, you do find your way around.
UKZN offers a solid education grounded in African values and global relevance. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a university that’s intellectually engaging, socially conscious, and rooted in cultural diversity.
View moreClasses were conducive and in a good state for students to be in. However, they could not accommodate everyone. What I liked is that when you are in class you’ll feel comfortable on the chairs and be able to focus. I would recommend it because of its education and how its professors teaching styles accommodate everyone.
View moreMy opinion about this university is that it’s neglect students like me who comes from disadvantage background in terms of financial support to pay for the registrations and tuitions fees. Yes, I do recommend this university because it does provide intelligence graduates with excellent research skills.
View moreThey should work on their administration and staff, sometimes the communication is just not right. Just getting these guys to respond to your emails is a mission and a half. I sent about 3 emails to them and they have never bothered to respond.
