I entered my first year just before Covid-19 hit, and as such, the first year was a bit difficult. Being at the Durban University of Technology broadened my way of thinking and the way I approached life. It also equipped me with the necessary skills and knowledge in my chosen field. Being on campus and attending lectures does help one personally as you’re able to articulate yourself and also grow as a person. Though there are instances where one feels overwhelmed, overall though, varsity is an experience
