I believe that Durban University of Technology is one of the best when it comes to its Arts & Design Faculty. It is innovative and strives for the best. I would highly recommend it because we also have extra curriculums and are able to have fun at the same time .Yes the infrastructure is quite old and is outdated but they do try to fix the infrastructure here and there. The lecturers in my department are truly friendly and make sure they get to know each student to the core. The student life is quite tough but doable.

the management communique is very poor especially on serios matters like Registration, Funding processes, Student housing.

Once you are registered and got an accommodation everything else is superb. Lecture venues are tricky to find which is just funny.
they ensure that students are business centered which is a beautiful thing.

I had a great experience at this university, with supportive professors who were always willing to help and provide guidance. The coursework was engaging and relevant to the field, making it easy to stay motivated. The campus facilities were modern and well-maintained, which added to the overall positive vibe. I particularly enjoyed the extracurricular activities and networking opportunities, which helped me build connections and gain practical experience. The university’s emphasis on research and innovation was also inspiring and pushed me to think outside the box.

What I liked:the supportive academic environment and excellent campus resources.
What I disliked: nothing major, just minor administrative delays in course registration.
Would I recommend it? Yes, definitely – I would recommend this university to prospective students looking for a balanced academic and social experience.
