My first year in Mechatronics at CPUT has been a mix of excitement and challenges. The balance between theory and practical work keeps things interesting, and the lecturers are generally supportive. Some modules can feel overwhelming, especially with the workload, but it’s manageable if you stay on top of things. The campus facilities are decent, though the labs could use some upgrades. Overall, it’s a solid program, and I’d recommend it to anyone interested in robotics, automation, and mechanical systems.

Honest opinion is that the varsity has all the material you’ll need for your programme, it’s up to you how you balance your studies with social life. All in all it’s a good varsity and offers everyone a chance to be educated and be on the right track with your career

I love that they provide work integrated field before you graduate, allowing you to learn more about your career choice.
