You can’t truly see how your university is performing and training you until you graduate and start working. It’s genuinely a strict, really strict university, especially when i would compare the system with my friends who were studying medicine in other countries. Professors can be too demanding at times, but now in retrospect, I realise they did this to help students be the best physicians they can be, so I’m grateful to them. As an alumni, I have never felt more grateful, even though the programm and especially the practical courses that require 100% attendance, all couses require a minimum of 60% to pass a course, the fact that if you were to get a 59% they wouldn’t even discuss rounding up your grade, you just had to retake it. This was something that at times would exhaust me and even make me angry. I now see it prepared me to enter the medical field as a truly well prepared physician and resident. I truly respect this faculty more after graduating when I saw the results in practice and in clinics.
