The National University of Singapore is a powerhouse of innovation and research. As a student here, I’ve had the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of knowledge. The university’s emphasis on interdisciplinary learning has allowed me to explore subjects outside my major, enriching my academic journey. One of the highlights of my time at NUS has been participating in the annual NUS Enterprise Challenge, where students pitch their startup ideas to industry leaders.
On the flip side, the competitive atmosphere can be overwhelming. Many students feel the pressure to excel academically, which can lead to burnout. Additionally, while there are numerous clubs and organizations, finding the right fit can be challenging, especially for those who are introverted. It’s essential to take the time to explore different groups and find a community that aligns with your interests. Despite these challenges, NUS is an incredible place for those who are passionate about learning and innovation.
