My experience at NTU has been a mix of highs and lows. Academically, NTU is top-notch, with dedicated professors and access to cutting-edge research opportunities, particularly in fields like artificial intelligence and environmental science. The international community is vibrant, and I’ve had the chance to meet people from all over the world. However, there are some concerns that future students should consider. The pressure to perform is intense, and mental health is often overlooked. Many students struggle with stress, and the counseling services, though helpful, could be more robust. Additionally, NTU’s focus on research productivity can sometimes overshadow the student experience, leaving some feeling like just a number. Despite these challenges, NTU’s reputation and resources make it worthwhile for those who are resilient and prepared for a rigorous journey. I’d recommend it, but with caution for students who need a more balanced, supportive environment.
