University of Belgrade is located in the capital of Serbia and it draws students from all over the country, as well as the region. The reason for this is that a lot of the top experts in their fields gather here to teach and do research.__It offers great diversity in the fields of study, as there are over a dozen different schools within the University, ranging from natural sciences, over technical sciences, all the way to social studies. __If you’ve asked around about our university, you’ve probably heard that there is a lot of gossip that the schools may not be fair. I’d say it depends on the student. If you’re not interested, you will slide through the system get your diploma and you’re done. However, if you’re interested in and devoted to what you study, you can capitalise on everything the university has to offer. The professors are great experts, that are interested in working with students and there is a realistic chance of joining their projects.__Enough of the academic part. Student life is just amazing! Due to the great diversity in study programmes, you can meet all kinds of people, all of whom are very pleasant, and would love to show you around and introduce you to the University and the city of Belgrade. And trust me, there is a lot you can experience in this city!
