Student review [#18210] for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
at University of Belgrade

Global pandemic hit us all as I started my freshman year at School of Electrical Engineering.
Being a student at SoEE turned out to be an amazing thing because classes were easy to convert to an online regime and faculty staff made sure that they were accessible to everyone.
SoEE provided MSteams to each of their students free of charge so that we were able to watch our lessons from anywhere in the world. There was no need for us to be on campus so there weren’t any unnecessary crowds. At the same time we had access to all the courses that are being held at SoEE.

From my point of view, students at SoEE have the privilege of working with some of the best experts in the field of electrical engineering and computer science. There are here for us for every possible question that we may have (even the stupid questions that we can have sometimes). They encourage us to learn as much as we possibly can and to use that knowledge to solve real life problems that we may face.

There are many student organizations that one can join. I chose to be a member of EESTEC because it gives me the opportunity to meet students of electrical engineering from all around Europe! Working on projects has taught me how to be a team player, leadership and organizational skills.
Being a member doesn’t take up much of one’s time, but it can be very useful in the future.
Also, you get to meet a lot of people and make amazing memories, so I personally recommend it to everyone.

Many students at SoEE get an internship (or even a job) during their junior and senior years of studies. Others, when they graduate, find jobs with no problem as graduates of electrical and computer engineering are in high demand right now.

If you are interested in programming, robotics, energy/electronics engineering or anything related to EE, I highly recommend the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade.
