I would recommend this faculty because it has an innovative approach to teaching, experiential learning, helps with personal development and develops professional skills. I think it has more internships than other faculties and the professors are very understanding if you are employed.
View moreI would definitely recommend studying at University of Belgrade. Most of my experiences were good and I have fond memories of those days. I made many great friends there and we share similar interests and same values. Learning and discussing different topics with them was very inspiring. Teachers value our opinions and encourage us to think critically. However, there were times where it was difficult because of the number of assignments that we had to do during semester. Personally, I don’t really like that much group projects and we had way too many of them.
View moreI’m a pedagogy student at Faculty of Philosphy, therefore I can only speak for the classes I’ve had. Overall, at the end of your studies you aquire a lot of knowledge, but some of it isn’t applicable in real life situations and some literature is really outdated.Throughout your studies you really develop great critical thinking skills and all of the professors are really approachable and responsive. Overall atmosphere is positive. You will have a lot of work throught semester like essays, group projects etc. which can be exausting, but some of them are really useful and insightful. Also, usually, you have to be present at your classes and you can only skip it a few times if you don’t have a valid excuse for your absence.
View moreDuring my studies at the Faculty of Philosophy University of Belgrade i had an opportunity to meet many eager students and professors who are dedicated to make an impact in the education.
I’m a bachelor degree student in Pedagogy/Education.
Pros: Professors are opened to students and they are hearing their opinions, interactive classes, group work, respect different perspectives and including students in every aspect of studying.
Cons: outdated curriculum and literature, lack of technology and failure to keep up with modern scientific achievements.
Faculty of Philosophy will give you the opportunity to see different perspectives and encourage critical reflection on education and society.
View moreThe Faculty for rehabilitation and education, which I minored in, offers a lot of practical experiences early on. That way students can appreciate the real-life work that they are studying for, get the experience, and practice what they are studying at the moment.
