My overall experience at the university was positive — the professors were very cooperative and supportive throughout my studies. However, I felt that there were limited opportunities for internships with companies, and career counseling services were not easily accessible. Having more exposure to practical, real-world experiences and guidance on securing scholarships for further studies would have been very valuable.
I maintained a strong CGPA until my final semester and was awarded a scholarship only once, despite consistently achieving high grades. The scholarship process seemed unclear, as sometimes applications were not accepted with the explanation that scholarships were not available for that semester. I believe that hardworking students who maintain excellent academic performance should consistently receive the scholarships they deserve.
View moreMy experience at the Arab Open University has been overall positive. The flexibility of the program allowed me to balance my studies with personal development and internships. The Computer Science curriculum, especially the Cybersecurity and Networking tracks, is well-structured with practical content like CCNA and system configurations. Professors are helpful and supportive, though some courses could benefit from more interactive or lab-based sessions. The university also offers opportunities for extracurricular activities and student clubs, which helped me build leadership and communication skills. While some administrative processes can be slow, I would definitely recommend the university to students who are self-motivated and interested in gaining strong technical foundations.
View moreMy experience at Arab Open University has been excellent. The programme offers great flexibility, which is ideal for students who balance studies with work or other responsibilities. The professors are knowledgeable and approachable, always willing to help with any issues or questions. The online resources are well-organized and make studying easier. One thing I particularly liked was the supportive learning environment and the emphasis on real-world applications. While I would have appreciated more on-campus activities, overall, I’m very satisfied with the quality of education. I would definitely recommend this university to others looking for a flexible and affordable education option.
View moreI loved studying in the university as it was so open to a lot of nationalities which allowed me to meet new people with different cultures and traditions. There were lots of different kinds of activities which kept us sane during our exams. The teachers were great and the university helped me finish my degree in 3 years by allowing me to take as many courses I could.
View moreMy honest opinion is the arab open university has one of the best business curriculums in Saudi Arabia and has professional tutors but the location of the university is a bit far from the downtown and the exams are unfair sometimes as well as the student activities aren’t active.
