My Opinion about the University:
Studying Computer Science at the University of Kigali Independent University (ULK) was a truly rewarding journey. I especially valued the collaborative learning environment, where group work helped us challenge and sharpen each other’s skills. While there is room for improvement in providing more modern practical resources, the university gave me a strong academic foundation and nurtured both my technical and interpersonal skills.
I really appreciated the group learning approach, as it allowed us to sharpen each other’s skills, exchange ideas, and grow together both academically and personally.
One area that could be improved is the availability of more up-to-date practical equipment and resources to complement the theory, so students can gain even stronger hands-on experience.
I would definitely recommend the University. It provides a solid academic foundation, encourages teamwork, and prepares students well for professional careers, especially in fields like computer science.
