Politehnica is one of the top universities in Romania and it offers a lot of diverse engineering programs.
Depending on the faculty, there are three campus locations, each very accessible from the transportation point of view. The facilities however can be a bit outdated. The curricula can be a bit overwhelming and most of the degrees require a lot of time investment. Also, there is a lot of focus on the theoretical part rather than the practical one. This motivates students to learn but on another hand, leaves less time to give to other activities.
The student life at UPB is really good, there are many student organizations and associations and more practical clubs that can enhance your experience and make university life more enjoyable.
