The University has some interesting degrees, I am studying Aerospace Engineering. Some lessons are kinda old, but my programme of study is in english, which is great because we learn the specific terms and not only in this language. The whole experience is great, the university offers many opportunities for their students. Besides that, a thing that should be improved is related to the dorms which are very old, they should be renovated.

University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest is the biggest technical university in Romania, reuniting 15 engineering domains. It is a good university, which gives students an exceptional theoretical background, allowing them to work in various engineering domains after graduation. Still, the workload is high and it some more practical experience may be needed.

Well, it depends on the faculty but for sure is the best engineering university in Romania with fields in Aerospace, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc.
Some laboratories are old but some are pretty modern and companies are always interested in investing.

One of the strengths of UPB is the high number of opportunities its students have during the studies or even after finishing them. You can get involved in many activities, related or not to your degree, but which will bring you a high advantage later on, whether we talk about personal or professional development.

Politehnica is one of the top universities in Romania and it offers a lot of diverse engineering programs.
Depending on the faculty, there are three campus locations, each very accessible from the transportation point of view. The facilities however can be a bit outdated. The curricula can be a bit overwhelming and most of the degrees require a lot of time investment. Also, there is a lot of focus on the theoretical part rather than the practical one. This motivates students to learn but on another hand, leaves less time to give to other activities.
The student life at UPB is really good, there are many student organizations and associations and more practical clubs that can enhance your experience and make university life more enjoyable.

You can meet great teachers from which you can learn more than you can comprehend. You can also meet teachers with frustrations that can make you curse the day you enrolled at this university. Sometimes you need a 2 TB external hard disk drive to memorise all the information presented during courses. Student life had ups and downs, of course, but overall this was the best experience that I had. Last but not least, regarding my professional career, I think the Politehnica University of Bucharest is one of the most recognised universities in Romania.

If you are passionate about aviation, don’t enrol at the universities from Romania.
You will be disappointed about what you will learn. The opportunity to find a good job in this field is almost 0.

I am honestly disappointed in how the university has been going, especially in this final year. The educational standards are extremely low, the teachers don’t really care about the students learning status or success. The accommodation has probably been the best part of student-hood, even though that’s not good either – it’s just that it’s free, for me at least. Overall, I am rather disappointed.

The career prospects are the best part of the program. There are many options for job enrollment in the aerospace sector. Also, there is the option of paid internships during the actual university year.

The exaggerated emphasis on non-important subjects and the fact that there are some inexperienced teachers are some of the most important drawbacks. The overall atmosphere though is wonderful and the student life is felt great with amazing students around.
