I started my master in University of Bucharest and I’m not looking back. I love how welcoming it is and the communication with other “colleagues”. For a romanian student is the best choice, even to start their bachelor but everyone should not forget that you need good grades too.
View moreI must admit that sociology/ what I majored in, is closely linked to changes and events that happen in our Roumanian society and this is what I enjoyed most about this school, it is very versatile, it explains concisely the main sociological concepts, you can deepen your knowledge on any concept and thrive, it is focused on people and the relationships that they build together, it is very popular in the media and it is just an awesome school to be in. I met there a couple of very knowledgeable students/ classmates, very competitive and very high achievers. Sociology is a great field to study and I highly recommend it, through the University of Bucharest.
I also liked the student life, in Bucharest, there are many wonderful places to visit, parks, concerts, theatres, dancing, restaurants and others, it has many international students and I enjoyed very much the years of college there, I have great memories and I encourage everyone to at least visit this city. It won’t let you down.
What I didn’t like was the fact that there were fewer jobs on the job market and that it is quite difficult to make a career out of sociology, I know I didn’t make a career out of this and I felt bad about this at that time.
