Babes-Bolyai University - UBB (reviews)

I would really recommend to everyone this university. You have lot of faculties to choose from and it is a nice place to spend your student years. I would say that it is very international, you can find many programmes in English. Many of them are even in both Romanian and English ( and also other languages, depends on every faculty).

I believe that this university is one of the best in the country. You have many opportunities, both to develop academically and to explore, through Erasmus . I had the chance to have understanding teachers, who actually practiced the profession they taught.

The overall experience was good but there are still issues that could improve. What bothered me most is that currently people follow more financial advantages and not their passion so their lack of true interest shows. Therefore, the professors only stick to the mandatory curriculum and don’t try to share their passion.

Although I have not finished my degree yet, I am happy that:
▶︎The teachers are engaged and passionate about what they teach
▶︎The books and the materials we mostly use are up to date and the teachers keep up with the latest updates in their respective fields.
▶︎ I appreciate the social aspect of my study and the multitude of canteens close to the uni.

A few things that could be improved are:
▶︎ The organization of the exams and classes, as we were announced quite late about the dates
▶︎The attitude towards the students enrolled in distance programs
