I am a 3rd year undergraduate student at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi. From my experience I’d say that this university offers a lot of options for future students to choose from. They have many programs and those programs offer a academic courses. I like how they also have extra-curricular activities for students and how they try to offer it’s students job opportunities.

Generally speaking, I had very good professors, really involved and availalbe to help the students with problems they encountered during their journey at the university. Almost every colleague of mine easily found a job in their field of study.

Professors some are ok, some not. Some want to be perfect, but You cant ne perfect If You save that much other. Campus i like it, but the dorms where students stay not looking good
It was an exciting and mostly pleasurable experience, of course there were some bad times, but eventually i got over them. There was one specific professor that left most of the colleagues in my year with a bad memory i suppose, but other than that, i enjoyed being a student at this university and i had fun learning the subjects that got taught, plus the practice with kids.

I finished my bachelor’s degree in physics this year, and one thing that convinced me to stay at the university even though I wasn’t very passionate about physics is the community. I met people who fascinated me because they organize various EU-funded projects here, and if you’re lucky, you can be part of them too. The university is open to Erasmus students, so if you have thought about coming to UAIC but think that the Romanian language would be an impediment for you or that not knowing the Romanian community would stop you, know that studies are organized here in English, and along the way you would see many students from abroad. During my bachelor’s degree, I made friends from Turkey, Morocco, and even China, with whom I keep in touch even after they returned to their home countries. The university offers scholarships and accommodation, access to canteens, and free medical services, so as a student at UAIC, you have many opportunities.
