The way the Optional courses are chosen thru auctioning each course. New facilities that have everything that you need and more, a lot of places to eat study and even a gym. It is also the highest-rated course of management in Portugal
View moreNova is a very big, modern campus next to the beach. It’s located in carcavelos and you can find accommodation there since there is a residence. It is as expected. I heard it was a difficult business school, and there is a lot of work to do weekly, like group works and individual assignments, but you can pass the courses if you make some effort. I feel that professors in NOVA are much onto students, very available for helping (flexible office hours) and very efficient in teaching terms. I had subjects like management accounting entrepreneurship and international management among others, all of them very interesting and engaging. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially because Lisbon is a very erasmus friendly city. There is a place in the city center called Erasmus Corner where all the students meet both on weekdays and on weekends, so it is the perfect location to meet new people and get cheap drinks. After that, we usually go to the clubs near Cais do sodré, which also usually have free entrance for erasmus students. The nightlife is amazing but the city also has very nice events and activities during the day.
