The university offers a very inspiring environment — the studios are well-equipped, and there are plenty of opportunities to experiment with different tools and mediums. Many of the lecturers are passionate about their fields and encourage students to push their creativity further, which really helped me grow.
However, I did feel that some modules weren’t as up-to-date as they could be, especially when it comes to newer design software and industry trends. Communication around deadlines and project expectations could also be clearer at times. While the campus facilities are good, access to certain workshops can be limited during busy periods, which makes time management a challenge.
Despite these issues, I would still recommend the programme to students who want a solid foundation in design and enjoy working in a creative, collaborative atmosphere. With a bit more structure and updated content, this programme has the potential to be excellent.
