Swps serves as a guide point for aspiring psychologists to learn, practice and grow into competent professionals that aid those in need of mental/Therapeutic help. Overall the most enjoyable aspect is the constant increase in knowledge and challenging scenarios posed by the teachers and staff that seek to assist students to the best of their ability. Would definitely recommend to students seeking a career in the field of psychology

Overall the facilities and buildings are still new and of high quality and class. Most students, lecturers are helpful. The is a private university. There is no accommodation is provided. There are international students who study here as well, some are from the Erasmus program, therefore you don’t have to worry about being alone. Most students are in the same boat. Generally, you should have a good experience. I am not too sure about career prospects. Please ignore my rating on accommodation and career prospects since it was needed to proceed.

To be honest, I am genuinely grateful that I was given the chance to delve into a deeper world of the mind past Sherlock Holmes and other fictional characters that are widely portrayed by the media(granted if you study psychology I assume you know that by now). My program affords me the reality to look at the mind that every person is born with as both an omnipotent construct as well as a fragile organ that can be shaped, changed or influenced by a multitude of factors and reasons, it’s not the holy grail of knowing every working part of its structure and interaction (although if you do big ups), sometimes it can involve complex and long therapies to help people through difficult times /past situations but other times it’s as simple as talking to an individual in a rough stage of life. I can’t say there is a most liked part as you will pick up things from each phase that will help you either as a therapist or a person. It is a course I would recommend to “My” friends, but to anyone else reading this I would say if you feel you have a desire to help those that need it if even only one person then, by all means, this is a course for you
