SGH is a great university that exposes you to both the theoretical and practical aspects of international economics and business. It is full of diverse students and offers a high level an interactive educational experience. I would definitely recommend the institution to a friend but would advice to be ready for rigorous learning because passing and completing the study plan is taken very seriously.
View moreSGH is the top economic university in Poland, and one the best in Europe. They offered great education with various choices of courses in English and Polish especially for foreign students. The quality of education met my expectations. The professors are approachable and most of them speak fluent English. The only downside is the administration and deans office. Most of the times you could expect long waiting times for responses. Overall, I recommend SGH to students who would like to pursue their studies in Business and Finance.
View moreI would say that the main thing that I like about the university is the career opportunities you get from the school because it has partnerships with different companies like Accenture and other economic related firms. The school helps you find an internship during the last semester in good companies in the country. Additionally the location is in central warsaw.I do not like the fact that it is not flexible when it comes to people who would like to work and study because most classes are in the morning and the number of black students is very low.
View moreI like how easy and flexible the learning system was, the lecturers are nice and most do activities that keep you connected with the course practically and theoretically, overall had a fun time in SGH warsaw school of economics
View moreThe course provides a complex and versatile (though pretty shallow) overview of economics and social sciences in general, as well as a more in-depth understanding of statistical and econometric methods, focusing on understanding of theory and high level mathematics. The programme lacks in the field of modern tools and practical skills, without much introduction to computer science, statistical software etc. As with most courses in applied mathematics, students know they will need to learn those tools by themselves, as it is almost impossible to work in the field without having to use them.
