The University has one of the best lecturers for the programme, highly motivated and knowledgeable. Practice facilities are the highlight of the programme there are world-class and give a realistic feel of what one will be exposed to after completing the programme.
The offered modules are well structured, but the workload becomes a bit overwhelming at some point. A 12 hour day packed with lectures is extremely exhausting. The University Infrastructure needs a lot of work, more classes are needed including student discussion facilities. A 24-hour library would also offer students an edge. There’s a need for proper student representation to be able to facilitate student and university communication. It’s important to state that the university has some construction that is underway but we as students have no idea what is being contracted.
In Conclusion, the programme is structured well, with a professional academic team and the practical work offered is world-class. Naturally, there are a few items that there’s a need improvement, but these don’t affect the quality of education offered, with little effort and elbow grease I believe I will come out a world-class nurse respected by my peers.
