A strong Liberal Arts and Sciences program is nimble and current in offering students the maximum flexibility to customize their curriculum that is both specific and relevant to modern society. Instead, by couching it under the Faculty of History, UAM’s Liberal Arts and Sciences program offers only science modules in exploratory level. Furthermore, the lack of a dedicated college meant that professors from various faculties are engaged to deliver only the minimal effort. This resulted in clumsy and severely unfair grading that did not accurately reflect the students’ learning or takeaways.
