From a student’s perspective, the Erasmus experience at Bialystok University of Technology felt well-structured and organized from the beginning. The study period was clearly defined, which made it easier to manage travel, accommodation, and academic planning without unnecessary stress.
Being part of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences provided a focused academic environment. The international atmosphere was one of the most valuable parts of the experience. Meeting students from different countries, collaborating on projects, and adapting to a new academic system helped build both confidence and independence. The Erasmus framework also ensured that everything ran systematically, from course selection to semester timelines.
Living in Białystok gave a chance to experience Polish culture, student life, and a new environment. The city felt student-friendly and manageable, which made settling in easier.
Overall, the experience was enriching both academically and personally. It provided not only quality education but also valuable life skills, cultural exposure, and memorable connections with people from around the world
