University of the Philippines - UPLB (reviews)

I began college back in 2010. Although I was a decent student I must admit the most enjoyable things about my college years were the non-academic stuff. I met many nice people and developed rewarding relationships. Some of them are still friends to this day. We probably played more games than we should have back then.

I joined the theater club and had great fun rehearsing and performing in a few plays. I even went off campus and did some community theater shows. I was never any good at singing or dancing or even memorizing my lines, but it was still a wonderful experience.

My school was connected to the early Internet. I asked for a computer account and was given one. And thus started my first years on the Internet. Back then it was only green text on a black screen. A couple dozen message boards and an email client. Still though, I could do hours a day on it.

Recognizing the student’s effort even though they missed the concept of an assignment.Also the school have an high robust academic program tailor to meet the needs of the diversed student body.teachers are not just educators they are mentors

Where do I even begin? UPLB helped me achieved my dreams and goals in life. It is my dream school, and studying there is indeed a challenge however, very fulfilling. The location of UPLB is a perfect place for students because it is very ambient, very quiet, and very welcoming. The professors are very passionate in teaching. Although there are quite a few facilities and materials that need to upgrade, it won’t change the fact that UPLB delivers a very good, and high quality education for every Filipinos

UPLB is a remarkable institution situated in the scenic landscapes of Los Baños, Laguna. The university has rich academic offerings spanning fields like agriculture, humanities, and engineering, among others. Aside from great commitment towards research excellence, the unique blending of education with nature is admirable. The university grounds are adorned with age-old trees, serene gardens, and even a mountain with forest! These promote a relaxing and conducive environment for learning, as well as encourage students to become environmentally conscious.
