My friends did engage me on the fun side of learning, but it was the daily hands-on activities that made me see the beauty of actually being in this profession. Life was stressful as a programmer. We had homework and projects and we had sleep! My lecturers were always beating us up with deadlines for this or that or attending this lecture since it was a general topic for everybody and it will seem like fun, but it wasn’t. I thought of dropping out on those days, but it was worth it.
I joined the swimming club with my new friends and learned from them how to balance skills in new directions. Everything changed the day or rather the semester when I graduated secondary school and got admitted into Ateneo where I achieved balanced success. I moved to Australia soon after. I had a great experience and exposure to learning while being and traveling around the world. It was great. So if you’re looking for a challenge, I cannot think of a better place than this.
