The most you can get in this university is the title of being a “scholar ng bayan” and, of course, free tuition.
I am a 4th-year Computer Science student enrolled in this university. I experienced face-to-face classes during my 1st year. The computer to student ratio is 1:4. The professors in my program don’t have industry knowledge and experience and are teaching outdated information.
There are also professors who looked down on students who chose the module mode of learning, and gave really low grades because they think students who chose this (despite not having wi-fi and devices to do online classes) are just lazy.

One of these is the free tuition fee that allows students to study without spending a single penny as long as they were able to maintain the required grade. PUP – Manila also caters wide variety of courses such as Accountancy, Education, IT and many more. I’m currently enrolled in computer science and I can vouch that they train their students to be independent in a sense that they will be able to adapt to the industry quickly.
